HELLO

   I'm a 20 y.o. Brazilian student that came to the UK in 2015 to study Game Art Design at DMU for one year through an exchange programme called Science Without Borders. In Brazil, I'm a third year Graphic Design student at an University called UNESP. 

 

   Working with games was probably one of the hardest decisions I had to make. I live in a country in which this Industry is not yet well developed, and there is absolutely no opportunity for everybody. In fact, I had to choose a BA in Graphic Design because there isn't a single public University that offers a course focused in game art and design. However, I come from a city that breathes enterpreneuships and startups in game development. I had the opportunity to work for a recently created startup for 8 and a half months and had a taste of what is like to work with mobile games.

 

   This opportunity to study at DMU, even for this single year, is fulling me with knowledge and determination, and sometimes I don't even believe I'm here. Even though I'm struggling like hell with all the projects and deadlines, I couldn't be happier with my choice to be here. 

 

   Now, a little about myself that might not be a surprise at all. I love to draw, cook and read. Creating games fascinates me more than playing them, even though playing is one of my favorite hobbies.
